Welcome to Zawajna LLC (“Zawajna,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Zawajna website and WhatsApp-based matrimonial service.
Please read these Terms carefully before registering or using Zawajna. By creating an account, accepting these Terms, or using the service, you agree to be legally bound by them.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not register for or use Zawajna.

1. About Zawajna
Zawajna is a matrimonial, marriage-intent platform designed to help adults meet potential partners for serious, marriage-oriented connections.
Zawajna operates primarily through WhatsApp. Users can:
Create a matrimonial profile;
Browse anonymous profiles;
Filter profiles according to their preferences;
Receive potential profile suggestions;
Send contact requests to profiles;
Accept or decline contact requests; and
Exchange WhatsApp phone numbers only when two users mutually agree to connect.
Zawajna is not a traditional dating application and does not provide private dating conversations inside the platform. Once two users mutually agree to a match, their WhatsApp numbers may be exchanged so they can communicate directly.

2. Eligibility
To use Zawajna, you must:
Be at least 18 years old;
Be legally able to enter into an agreement under applicable law;
Provide truthful and reasonably accurate information;
Be seeking a serious, marriage-oriented connection; and
Comply with these Terms and all applicable laws.
Zawajna is intended for adults only. Anyone under 18 is prohibited from registering or using the service.
The service is designed for users in Arab countries and the Arab diaspora, but access may be restricted or unavailable in certain jurisdictions.

3. Acceptance of These Terms
Before a profile is created, you must accept these Terms and the applicable Zawajna community rules.
Your acceptance may be recorded electronically, including the date and time of acceptance.
If we update these Terms and you continue to use Zawajna after the updated Terms take effect, your continued use may constitute acceptance of the updated Terms.

4. Registration and Your Account
4.1 One Account Per Person
Each WhatsApp phone number may be associated with only one Zawajna account.
You may not:
Create multiple accounts;
Use another person's WhatsApp number;
Create an account on behalf of another person without authorization;
Transfer or sell your account; or
Allow another person to operate your account.
4.2 Accurate Information
You agree to provide truthful and accurate information during registration and when updating your profile.
You must not knowingly provide false information about:
Your identity;
Age;
Gender;
Marital status;
Country or location;
Religion;
Children;
Profession; or
Any other material profile information.
Providing false information may result in suspension or permanent removal from Zawajna.
4.3 Account Responsibility
You are responsible for activity conducted through your WhatsApp account in connection with Zawajna.
You must keep control of your WhatsApp account and notify us if you believe it has been compromised or used without authorization.

5. Profile Rules
Zawajna allows users to create profiles containing personal and matrimonial information.
You agree that your profile must not contain:
False or misleading information;
Another person's personal information without permission;
Phone numbers or other contact information intended to bypass the Zawajna matching process;
External contact handles intended to bypass the service;
Scam or fraudulent content;
Illegal content;
Threats, harassment, or abusive content;
Sexually explicit or inappropriate content;
Hate speech or discriminatory content;
Content designed to exploit other users; or
Content that violates another person's privacy or intellectual-property rights.
Zawajna may automatically screen free-text profile content and may remove or reject phone numbers, external contact information, or prohibited words.

6. No Profile Photos
Zawajna's current service model does not use profile photos.
Users should not attempt to submit photographs as profile content where such functionality is not supported.
The service is designed around descriptive profile information rather than photographs.

7. Anonymous Profile Browsing
When browsing profiles, Zawajna is designed to protect user privacy.
During ordinary browsing:
Your name is not shown to other users;
Your WhatsApp phone number is not shown;
Other users see only the profile information made available by Zawajna; and
Your phone number remains hidden until a mutual match occurs.
A user's phone number is not intended to be disclosed simply because another user browses or requests contact.
Phone numbers are exchanged only after both users mutually agree to connect.

8. Contact Requests and Matches
8.1 Sending a Contact Request
You may express interest in another user by sending a contact request.
Zawajna may limit the number of pending contact requests that you can have at one time.
The current MVP design limits users to 10 pending contact requests at a time to discourage mass requests and promote serious use of the service.
8.2 Acceptance or Decline
The recipient of a contact request may accept or decline the request.
You do not have a right to demand, pressure, threaten, or otherwise force another user to accept your request.
8.3 Mutual Consent
A match occurs only when the applicable users mutually agree according to the Zawajna matching flow.
After a mutual match:
Both users' WhatsApp numbers may be exchanged automatically;
The users may communicate directly with each other;
Their subsequent private communication is generally outside Zawajna's direct control.
8.4 No Guarantee of a Match
Zawajna does not guarantee that:
You will receive contact requests;
Another user will accept your request;
You will receive a match;
A match will be compatible with you;
A conversation will continue;
A relationship will develop; or
A marriage will result from using the service.

9. Paid Subscription
Zawajna may offer a free browsing tier and a paid subscription.
The current MVP subscription model provides:
Free access: Browsing profiles and receiving certain suggestions;
Paid access: The ability to send contact requests and access paid matching functionality;
Subscription price: Currently planned as USD 35 per year, subject to change and applicable taxes or payment fees.
The paid subscription is generally triggered when a user attempts to send a contact request.
9.1 Payment
Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers, including services such as:
Card payment providers;
Stripe;
PayPal; and
Other supported payment methods.
By purchasing a subscription, you agree to the terms and policies of the applicable payment provider.
9.2 Renewal
For the initial MVP, subscriptions are intended to require manual renewal rather than forced automatic renewal.
Zawajna may send reminders before your subscription expires.
9.3 Price Changes
We may change subscription prices in the future. Any changes will not affect an already paid subscription period unless permitted by applicable law and clearly communicated to you.

10. Refunds
Refunds may be handled according to applicable law, payment-provider requirements, and the circumstances of the request.
Except where required by applicable law or expressly stated otherwise:
Subscription fees may be non-refundable once paid;
Use of paid functionality may affect refund eligibility;
Refund decisions may consider fraud, abuse, chargebacks, or violations of these Terms.
We recommend adding a separate, detailed Refund Policy before launch, particularly for users purchasing annual subscriptions.

11. Acceptable Conduct
When using Zawajna, you agree that you will not:
Harass, threaten, stalk, intimidate, or abuse another user;
Use the platform for scams or financial fraud;
Request money from users for fraudulent purposes;
Impersonate another person;
Create a fake profile;
Misrepresent your gender, age, marital status, or other material information;
Collect user information without authorization;
Use bots, scripts, scraping tools, or automated systems to collect data or mass-interact with profiles;
Attempt to bypass subscription or paywall systems;
Publish another user's personal information without consent;
Send unsolicited spam;
Use Zawajna for prostitution, commercial sexual services, trafficking, or illegal activity;
Exploit, manipulate, or deceive other users;
Circumvent a block or ban;
Interfere with the technical operation or security of Zawajna; or
Use the service in violation of applicable laws.

12. Blocking and Reporting
Zawajna provides reporting and blocking features.
Users may report accounts they believe are:
Fake;
Fraudulent;
Abusive;
Misleading;
Unsafe; or
In violation of these Terms.
In the current service design, reporting a profile may also automatically block that user from appearing in your future suggestions or contacting you through the Zawajna matching system.

13. Moderation and Enforcement
We may investigate reports, suspicious activity, and potential violations of these Terms.
Where reasonably necessary, we may:
Issue a warning;
Restrict account features;
Temporarily suspend an account;
Remove profile content;
Cancel or restrict subscriptions;
Permanently ban an account;
Block access to the service; or
Take other action reasonably necessary to protect users and the service.
Serious violations, scams, or threats to user safety may result in immediate removal or permanent banning.
We may use automated systems and user reports to identify suspicious behavioral patterns.

14. Your Safety Is Your Responsibility
Zawajna provides an introduction and matching service. We do not perform comprehensive background checks or guarantee the identity, honesty, intentions, marital status, or safety of every user.
You are responsible for using reasonable caution.
Before meeting someone or sharing sensitive information, we recommend that you independently:
Verify their identity;
Communicate carefully;
Meet in a safe public place where appropriate;
Inform a trusted person about any in-person meeting;
Avoid sending money to people you have not independently verified; and
Stop communication if you feel unsafe or pressured.
Zawajna Is Not Responsible for Private Interactions
After a mutual match and number exchange, users communicate directly through WhatsApp. Zawajna generally does not control or monitor those private conversations.
You understand that your interactions with other users are your responsibility.

15. Identity and Background Checks
Zawajna does not guarantee that every user is who they claim to be.
No routine identity verification is required in the initial MVP registration process. However, Zawajna may request additional verification where there is a reasonable suspicion of fraud, a user report, or another safety concern.
You must not assume that:
A user has been verified;
Zawajna has checked their background;
Zawajna guarantees their identity; or
Zawajna guarantees the accuracy of their profile.

16. Compatibility Scores and Suggestions
Zawajna may provide compatibility scores or suggest profiles based on information such as:
Age;
Location;
Religion or practice preferences;
Interests and values; and
Life and family preferences.
These scores are intended as general informational and matching tools only.
A compatibility score is not a guarantee of:
Emotional compatibility;
Personal compatibility;
Safety;
Relationship success; or
Marriage.
You remain responsible for your own decisions.

17. Notifications and Messaging
By using Zawajna, you may receive service-related WhatsApp messages concerning:
Your registration;
Contact requests;
Matches;
Account activity;
Profile reminders;
Subscription status; and
Important safety or service announcements.
Optional promotional or proactive notifications are intended to be subject to user consent or opt-in where required. Zawajna also aims to respect applicable quiet hours based on the user's local time zone.
You may be able to pause or stop certain optional communications using available account controls.

18. Intellectual Property
The Zawajna name, logo, website, software, bot, interface, text, graphics, trademarks, and other content are owned by or licensed to Zawajna.
You may not, without our written permission:
Copy or reproduce Zawajna content;
Use the Zawajna name or branding commercially;
Reverse engineer the service;
Attempt to extract source code;
Create a competing copy of the platform; or
Use Zawajna intellectual property in a way that suggests affiliation or endorsement.
You retain ownership of content you create, subject to the rights necessary for Zawajna to operate the service.

19. Your Content
You remain responsible for information you submit to your profile.
By submitting information to Zawajna, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right to:
Store your information;
Process it;
Display permitted profile information to relevant users;
Use it to operate matching features;
Use it to moderate the service; and
Use it as necessary to provide and improve the service.
This permission ends when your information is deleted, subject to legitimate retention requirements and technical backup periods.

20. Account Suspension, Deletion, and Termination
You may request to:
Pause your account;
Stop using the service; or
Delete your account and personal data, subject to applicable legal and operational retention requirements.
Zawajna may suspend or terminate your access if you:
Violate these Terms;
Create safety risks;
Engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior;
Provide materially false information; or
Use the service illegally.
Account deletion or termination does not necessarily entitle you to a refund unless required by applicable law or our refund policy.
The service is designed to support user-requested account deletion and the deletion of inactive account data after an applicable retention period.

21. Third-Party Services
Zawajna may rely on third-party services, including:
WhatsApp and Meta;
Payment processors;
Hosting providers;
Cloud and database providers; and
Other technology partners.
Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
Zawajna is not responsible for outages, changes, restrictions, or policies of independent third-party services.

22. Service Availability
We aim to provide a reliable service, but we cannot guarantee that Zawajna will always be:
Available;
Error-free;
Uninterrupted;
Secure from every possible threat; or
Available in every country.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, legal compliance, or business reasons.

23. Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Zawajna is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We do not guarantee:
That the service will lead to a relationship or marriage;
That every profile is genuine or accurate;
That every user will behave safely or honestly;
The success of any match;
The compatibility of any two users; or
The conduct of users after they exchange contact information.
You use Zawajna and communicate with other users at your own risk.

24. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zawajna and its owners, employees, contractors, and service providers shall not be liable for:
The actions or omissions of other users;
Private communications between users;
Relationships or disputes between users;
Financial losses caused by scams or fraud;
Personal injury resulting from interactions between users;
Emotional distress arising from user interactions;
Loss of data or service interruptions; or
Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

25. Indemnification
You agree, to the extent permitted by applicable law, to indemnify and hold harmless Zawajna and its operators from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from:
Your violation of these Terms;
Your unlawful use of the service;
Information you submit to the service;
Your interactions with other users; or
Your violation of another person's rights.

26. Privacy
Your use of Zawajna is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information.
You should read the Privacy Policy together with these Terms.

27. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
The updated version will include a new “Last Updated” date. Where a change is material, we may provide additional notice through:
WhatsApp;
The Zawajna website; or
Another appropriate method.
Your continued use of the service after the updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

28. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection laws that apply in your country of residence.
Before commencing formal legal proceedings, you agree to contact us and make a reasonable attempt to resolve the dispute informally.
Company legal details should be finalized before publication because the project entity is still being established.

29. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

30. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the:
Privacy Policy;
Community Guidelines, if published;
Payment or Refund Policy, if published; and
Any other applicable policies,
constitute the agreement between you and Zawajna regarding your use of the service.
